Setting

Every child is warmly welcomed and supported in this stimulating environment

Staff

The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and work well as a team

It is clear that the staff relish working with the children and they bring fun and humour to the activities they provide, with support from regular volunteers

The setting demonstrates effective ambition, vision and drive to maintain continuous improvement

Parents

Parents are very positive about the staff and the quality of services they receive.  They appreciate the care their children receive and can see the progress they are making

Outdoors

A wonderful feature in the outdoor area is the planting and growing area

Children & Learning

A well developed knowledge of each child’s needs by their key person makes sure that they successfully promote children’s welfare and learning

Children make very good progress through the six areas of learning towards the Early Learning Goals in relation to the capabilities and starting points

Health

Children learn about adopting healthy lifestyles through the benefits of healthy eating because they are offered a balance of nutritious snacks as well as regular excersize and fresh air outdoors

Inclusion

The promotion of inclusion within the setting ensures that extra support for children with additional needs is made available if and when this is necessary

Children clearly enjoy their time in the company of friends and staff at the pre-school. They benefit from the care and encouragement of knowledgeable and experienced staff in a welcoming learning environment.

Children greatly benefit from a balanced range of safe,suitable and interesting equipment and toys to meet their developmental needs and cover all areas of learning.

 Staff greatly support children in their imaginative thinking.

Children effectively develop their confidence and self-esteem because staff frequently praise and encourage their efforts.
